It's a decent little mill, I have already made several steel parts on it. If you currently run a Bridgeport, this is not that and requires much smaller and slower cutting. The DRO has proven to be more accurate than I thought and it is easily holding +/-.001 and under. The X/Y/Z axis slide smooth (I made minor adjustments to the Gibbs) and all axis have nice heavy screws for driving. I debated giving it 5 stars but didn't due to some minor issues I think the manufacturer could easily fix. First, none of the hand wheels had handles that were the right size and the Z axis hand wheel didn't have a handle at all. I made new handles because I wanted longer handles then they supply. Second, the draw bar the machine comes with is metric instead of 7/16-20, I made a new draw bar as well because I couldn't find one I liked. Third, the R8 spindle bore is a little snug its not the end of the world and it will wear in but they could open it up a little. And fourth, the machine should come from the factory with a spanner wrench for changing tools, this is the thing that bothered me the most. They supply a handle with a pin on the end and it broke the first time I tried taking out the drill chuck. It needs a spanner wrench so the drive hole doesn't get damaged. Other than that it has been a great little mill and I would defiantly buy it again. I have tapped up to 3/8-16 in steel and it did great, I have also run a 1-1/2" TPG face mill in it and with small cuts it works fine. I like it.
