Jason_FuFounder and Chief Executive Officer of Toolots, Inc. Jason Fu began his entrepreneurship in China over two decades ago. Jason founded his first business in 1994, focusing specifically on the Chinese energy, real estate and machinery industries. He immigrated to the United States in 1999 and within a year, established a successful door hardware business that would eventually grow to include industrial machinery. Through his first American business, the Bolton Group, Jason and his company provided imported machinery to tens of thousands of locations in the United States, from universities and technical schools to factories and workshops. Jason expanded the Bolton Group catalogue and founded Bolton Tools, which ultimately supplies over 20,000 shops, factories, and schools with quality, affordable industrial equipment and tools. In 2011, Jason founded Toolots, Inc., combining his experience importing industrial equipment and working with U.S. manufacturers, and unveiled its Cerritos headquarters in Summer 2016.

Jason’s vision is that Toolots will help streamline industrial commerce between the U.S. and China, building long-lasting relationships that fuel economic growth. With critical knowledge of the industry on both sides of the Pacific Ocean, Jason and Toolots, Inc. seek to increase distribution of U.S. manufacturing equipment, machinery and parts nationwide, as well as exports of innovative American products overseas.

Jason is a graduate of Zhejiang Law School and Zhejiang University, where he earned his administrative professional post-graduate degree.
Chief Operating Officer for Toolots, Inc. William Gilroy joined Toolots in October 2020, after more than 20 years of experience with early-stage growth companies. Prior to Toolots, Bill launched and managed an advisory business that provides capital raising, growth strategy and operational improvement services to private equity-backed companies. 

Earlier in his career, Bill invested in growth stage consumer brands on behalf of a leading family office and worked as an investment banker for growth stage technology companies at a boutique investment bank. 

Bill earned an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and received his bachelor's degree Magna Cum Laude in English from Dartmouth College.
ZeMing_GaoChief Strategy Officer ZeMing M. Gao joined Toolots in March 2017. He brought in a full scope of startup architecture and strategy experiences with unique a multidisciplinary and entrepreneurial background. A former intellectual property (IP) attorney with Lee & Hayes PLLC (ranked No.1 globally in “patent quality” by Intangible Asset Management), ZeMing specialized on building global IP portfolios and commercialization of IP, and advised clients ranging from Microsoft Research Asia to Alibaba Group. ZeMing subsequently pursued his entrepreneurial passion for technology startup companies and worked inside a number of startup teams as a corporate architect, strategic business advisor, board director and investor. His expertise covers a broad range, especially in converging intersections of business strategies, technology, law and financing. 

ZeMing received his Juris Doctoral degree from University of Wisconsin Law School, and prior to that double MSc in biophysics and quantum chemistry, and BSc in physics.
Peter_WeiPeter Wei serves as the Executive Adviser to the Toolots Board of Directors, a post he filled beginning March 2017. He graduated from Beijing University with a Bachelor's in Computer Science and received his MBA in Business and Management from Pepperdine University before obtaining a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan. Peter is a Software Architect and Rules Expert with roughly 20 years of senior management experience in the technology and software industries. In previous positions, Peter has successfully implemented software solutions and dynamic rule-based decisioning systems to simultaneously improve efficiency, productivity, and growth for businesses in an array of industries.
Jessie_Ying_ZhanJessie Ying Zhan serves as Secretary for the Toolots, Inc. Board of Directors, as of March 2017, and possesses over 30 years of experience in the financial industry with extensive knowledge in investment banking, management, and risk control. She graduated from Northeast Normal University with a Bachelor’s in Education and received a Master’s in Finance from the Institute of Fiscal Science, Ministry of Finance before obtaining a Ph.D. in Finance Principal from China RenMin University and a Post Doctorate in Philosophy (Finance Principal) at Tsinghua University. Jessie founded Friendz Sky International Investment and currently oversees all organization operation while simultaneously serving as the Chief Investment Advisor for CybEye Inc. During previous roles, Jessie successfully presided over and/or participated in the Initial Public Offering (IPO), refinancing, merging, acquisition, and reorganization of over 150 projects for a multitude of companies in a variety of industries. 
Anna_ShiAnna Shi is a member of the Toolots Board of Directors, after joining the board in 2015. As founder and chief executive officer of the women’s fashion brand Ever Pretty & Alisa Pan, she brings immense creativity and entrepreneurial drive to Toolots. Ten years ago, Anna grew a dream of owning her own clothing company into a reality, and under her leadership her company has grown at a rapid pace, expanding her company’s operations in Los Angeles, London and China. Her company now provides clothing to thousands of women all around the world. Anna joined the Toolots Board of Directors in 2015 at a critical time and continues to share her invaluable experience and expertise managing successful e-commerce brand strategy campaigns with the Toolots executive team.
