Expect to spend time cleaning, deburring, installing and tuning before getting good results - the work is not done for you, and no-one will be holding your hand.
Packing is pretty good; the lathe made a 15,000 mile trip and arrived without damage. You will need some rigging in order to set it up (minimum - cherry picker).
I can't comment on the machining quality yet, I'm still setting it up, but visually and mechanically it's good. Accuracy is yet to be determined.
